After a spectacular show of racing at the Eclipse 500 in early March, Round 2 takes the 2013 Aussie Racing Cars Super Series to the Symon Plains motor racing circuit in Tasmania, 30km out of Launce. Approximately 33 Aussie Racing Cars for sale will be hitting the track on April 5-7.Local Tasmanian driver Adam Gowns will be defending his lead in the Series on his home-soil after taking out Round 1 at Clipsal. His current lead in the Championship standings is followed very closely by Maurice Massine and Nathan Townsend. Massine, a Sydney based driver has renewed his sponsorship in the Series driving for VIP Pet Foods, owned and operated by the Quinn Family who purchased the Series in 2012.Brody Maher, another Tasmanian local will also be taking to the track driving for Hi - Tec. Oils, one of the major sponsors of the Series. Kent Quinn, son of Tony Quinn who took over ownership of the Series will be guest driving this weekend for VIP Pet Foods. Kent, who runs the VIP Pet Food business with his family, is a proficient driver having raced in a number of competitive Australian racing championships. With his brother Clark competing in the Australian GT Series, there is no doubt that racing is the lifeblood of the Quinn Family. Category Manager of the Aussie Racing Cars for sale, Brad Ward, has commented that this Round will be a show stopper with the tight corner racing the Aussie Racing Cars can produce on track.
